We are the champions!!!

The Lee Valley Lions travelled to sunny Isle of Wight on 10th/11th May to take part in a tournament. We won our pool, having played Isle of Wight Dinos, Solihull Vikings and Slough Aeros. We then overcame the Solihull Barons in the semi-final and thumped London Uni Dragons 7-0 in the final. Well done lads, fantastic job all round and great to see so many happy faces :-)

Deryk Beeson has recently set up a new company which acts as an associate of APS Legal. Deryk can provide advice and assistance on writing Wills, establishing trust funds for children, pre-paid funeral plans etc. Even better, for every customer that takes advantage of the services that Deryk and APS Legal provide a donation will be made to the club.

Hockey fans help Maya Skippen

Maya Skippen is a 7-year-old hockey fan from Essex who has already battled cancer twice. Sadly her tumour has returned once more and her parents are desperately trying to raise £50,000 to send her for treatment in America.

Presentation Night

Lee Valley Lions (junior and senior teams) are holding an end-of-season Presentation Night at the rink bar on 18th May from 4.30pm. Tickets cost £5 and cover the cost of food and soft drinks, while alcohol will be available to purchase on the night.

Tomorrow: end-of-season get-together for players & fans

Just to remind everyone that the team is having a get-together tomorrow night (Saturday 23 February) at the Crown & Crooked Billet pub, 13 Cross Road, Woodford Green, IG8 8BN from 7pm. Lions' players and fans are all welcome.
