Lions Fan: Glen Price ("Millwall")

Sinbin Jack McGill explains here how Clockender Glen (who went on to play between the pipes at arch rivals Romford!) aquired his nickname:

"You all remember MILLWALL, but can you remember the night that Glen was given that nickname? Well, do you remember the night that Millwall FC had a riot at New Cross and the seats were pulled up and thrown at the police? At the next home game (Lions) Glen was standing on a seat at the Clockend and started to jump about and abuse some poor ref and the seat broke and everybody in the Clockend started shouting Millwall, Millwall, Millwall and it stuck!"

"At one of my many parties when the whole team was invited I remember that Bill Kirk and Eddie Joseph locked themselves in the toilet and proceeded to make the most unusual noises. After some time Bill came out with his mouth covered in shaving foam (I hope) thanking Eddie most profusely for such a wonderful time and the whole house fell apart with laughter having gathered round the door to find out what all the noise was about."
