Additional Comments:

Mark Nicholls and Mike Fafard scored Lions' other two goals, Faf's being from a Penalty Shot given at 16:19. Todd Bidner, Doug McEwen and Tim Peacock all scored three goals for the Pirates, plus a high number of assists.

The report of this match in the LVL programme indicates that tempers flared in the final period, with five lots of 2-mins penalties for Unnecessary Roughness. There was also a penalty against Kenny McDonald for "charging the netminder" (Jamie Elliott) and both teams got 2-mins penalties for hitting the puck after the whistle had blown!

The programme didn't give any mention of players' shirt numbers, nor of any MOTM awards.

Referee was Naylor, Linesmen were Eccles and Jenkins.
