Additional Comments: Both teams scored a Power Play goal and Slough also hit two Short-Handed goals. Lions' first goal was a cracker - Charlie Colon had left the crease to hit the puck away, but in doing so it rebounded off of Kurt Wickenheiser who then was able to flip it into the empty net!!! Mark Salisbury and David Chaffers both sat out 2+2 penalties for Unnecessary Roughness at 29:02 but the rest of the game passed smoothly. Referee was Naylor, Linesmen were Kenny and Eccles. |
