Additional Comments: Having a squad of only 11 men I think Dumfries did well to have lost by only 3 goals. The game wasn't without incident, with three lots of clashing players: At 06:25 Rob McCaig and John Churchill recieved 2-mins each for Unsportsmanlike Conduct. At 13:05 Neil Stower and Gary Collins received 2-mins each for Roughing. At 50:42 Darcy Cahill received 2-mins for Unsportsmanlike Conduct and Peter Graham received 2+10 for throwing his stick at Rob McCaig! Lions had a goal disallowed at 50:42 which was thought to be rather unfair as the reason we'd scored was due to goalie Peter Graham throwing his stick at Rob! Although the whistle was blown for the penalty after the puck had gone in the goal it wasn't allowed. Referee was McLaughlin, Linesmen were Ashraff and Feehan. |
