Trials/practice sessions start tonight
A quick reminder to any player who’s thinking of trying out for the Lions’ 2014/15 season or wants some ice time over the summer – our sessions will run each Tuesday from 8.15pm, starting tonight, 13 May.
Summer trials/practice sessions
The club invites players to come along to the Lions’ practice sessions, which would also function as trials for the 2014/15 season. The sessions will run each Tuesday from 13 May, 8.15-9.30pm, at a cost of £10 per player.

Alex needs wheels! Help Paul O’Neill achieve Ironman challenge
Former Lion, Paul O’Neill, is training hard for a half-Ironman event on 18 May – this will consist of a 2km swim, 90km cycle and a half-marathon run. Why is Paul putting himself through all this? To raise €4000 to buy a new wheelchair for a little lad called Alex, who suffers from Spinal Muscular Atrophy.
