Trials for each season are normally held on each Tuesday throughout July, but dates and times will be posted on the home page nearer the time. Occasionally we will require new players mid-season, though it is more likely we would be looking for British players rather than those from outside the UK.
If you’re interested in playing for the Lee Valley Lions ENIHL team mid-season please send us information about your level of play and whether you are UK-trained. If the coach is interested in seeing you, he’ll get in touch and ask you to come for a trial. You’ll be asked to contribute towards the cost of the ice time.
NB We are not able to consider players unless they either live or can live in the UK (self-funded). The Lions play in an amateur league, so this means we don’t provide houses or jobs 😉 If you do not already live in the UK or you have not made firm arrangements to live in the UK, then please do not submit your details until your circumstances change.
You must be able to play hockey to a good standard because we do not take on beginners or those without the relevant skills or experience (so we won’t reply if you submit your details). If you need experience, please contact a rec team such as the Eastern Stars (we can’t answer questions about rec hockey).
