Lee Valley Juniors are looking at relaunching our junior programme and we’re on the hunt for a passionate Head Coach and Assistant Coaches to lead the next generation of players.
We are looking at restarting our junior club with Under 10s, Under 12s and Under 14s, building from a strong core of enthusiastic beginner players. This is a unique opportunity to have a real impact from day one — helping shape the culture, standards, and future success of junior hockey at Lee Valley.
If you’re motivated, energetic, and thrive on developing young players, this role offers far more than just ice time. You’ll be part of an ambitious club environment focused on fun, learning, confidence, and competition, while helping players fall in love with the game.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate training sessions
• Develop fundamental skating, puck skills, and game understanding
• Promote teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship
• Support players’ long-term development and confidence
• Work collaboratively with other coaches and club volunteers
• Attend matches, tournaments, and club events as required
About You
• Passionate about youth development and ice hockey
• Coaching experience preferred (playing experience considered)
• UK coaching qualifications desirable (or willingness to work towards them)
• Reliable, positive, and a strong role model for young players
• Safeguarding & DBS (or willingness to obtain)
