What’s better than one Frain goalie? Two!

Cameron Frain joins the Lions after a season with Streatham, where the young netminder’s displays caught the eyes of the England U18 program.

We’re excited to see what our new #36 does this season in a green and blue uniform.

Coach Jonesy’s comments: “Cameron is new to the Lions this season and was very impressive during the summer trials.

He has played at this level before and has trained up for a number of years whilst being successful at junior level.

Cameron is eager to learn and I am very confident that both he and Ethan will be pushing each other to reach the highest level possible this season, adding to our depth in the position.”

Two-way signing: Kobe Grinell-Parke

18 year old forward Kobe Grinell-Parke joins the Lions for the 24/25 season, on a two way agreement with Romford Buccaneers NIHL1.

We’re happy to welcome our new #71 to the Green and Blue!

Coach Jonesy’s comments: “I am thrilled that Kobe has agreed to sign for the Lions as part of a two-way with Romford Buccaneers.

Kobe is an exciting talent and he will add a lot ability to our line up.

Having spent time talking with Kobe this summer he is extremely coachable and I am looking forward to helping him continue his development this season.

He works hard every second of every session and I expect Kobe to be a key contributor in all situations this year.”

Frain retained

After a season in National League and half a season in NIHL1, goalie Ethan Frain joined the team half way through last season, and quickly established himself as a dominant presence between the pipes.

Welcome back to our #33 and we look forward to seeing a full season from you!

Coach Jonesy’s comments: “Ethan joined us mid-way through last season and made an instant impact, bringing an air of confidence into the changing room.

Ethan is another player that has experience at a high level and that comes with high expectations of what we can achieve together.

Ethan is very analytical in how he thinks about the game and that offers us a valuable insight into planning and reviewing our approaches.

Ethan is our number 1 goalie this season and we are fortunate to have one of the best goalies in the league in our crease.”

Felician is Green and Blue again

After stepping down from NIHL 1 for the 23/24 season, our #15 Zion Felician quickly became a trusted presence in defence.

We’re just as excited as you are to see what he does this season.

Coach Jonesy’s comments: “Zion is an exciting talent and I am pleased he will be in a Lions jersey again this season.

He has excellent poise on the puck and is willing to get stuck in and do the hard work at both ends.

Zion will continue to be a key part of our group this season and will definitely be taking on a larger role, particularly on the powerplay unit.

Zion has the potential to be a standout for us this season and across the league.”
