Original Lions’ team member Dave Hardie has been in touch and I’ve added a bit about him to the Where Are They Now? page of the Team History section (new entries are at the bottom of the page).

I’ve added a page to the Team History section that shows the names/number of goals of every player that ever scored for the original Lee Valley Lions. There’s also another page giving the names of every player who never scored (many, of course, are netminders).

*Chris Leggatt topped the list of British scorers, with 127 goals?

*Charlie Colon, Mike Urquart, Shannon Hope and Luc Chabot made appearances for the Lions?

*We played Medway Bears in 43 games and only won 9 of them?

Jenny Malyon of the Chelmsford Chargers kindly sent me a couple of old hockey magazines that featured some articles and photos of the original Lions team.

Brief details on what ex-Lions imports Anders Bach and Mark Harding are up to these days have been added to the Where Are They Now? page. I hope to have some more info about Anders shortly. Mark contacted me himself and it turns out he’s a fellow drummer, so I’ve included a link to his band’s site.
