Michael Crosse, a talented member of the Under 18s team, is joining the Lions for his first season at senior level. Michael was his A-league team’s top goal and points-scorer last season. I’m pleased to say that Michael’s father, Simon Crosse, will also be coming on board, using his experience as a broadcast journalist to write match reports and add content to the Lions’ website.

More players return to the Den
I’m pleased to announce that Scott Beeson has signed up for another season with the Lions, as has Romanas Fedotovas. Calum Heath has decided to play for Streatham this season and we wish him well at his new club.
Rule changes this season mean we can only have one import. You can see the EIHA rules of competition here: http://www.eiha.co.uk/LinkClick.aspx?fileticket=Ca96FOaJC7w%3D&tabid=80&mid=3333.
Latest signings
This week we have signed Jordan Jones and welcome back Lions’ regular, Richard Hodge. A further five names are in the pipeline and hopefully I’ll be in a position to unveil the names next week.
New season’s signings
I’m pleased to announce that last season’s players have remained loyal to the Lions and the following have already re-registered with us:
- Jack Ball
- Alan Go
- Adam Peach
- James Scott-Joseph
- James Hatfull
- Josh Irish
- Phil Carson
Another four players are due to sign very shortly, along with netminders, so I’ll post their names as soon as I’ve received confirmation of who they are.
Lions on YouTube for Vicks.
Lions players George Alley, Joe Berry, James Scott-Joseph, club coach Phil O’Neill and former player Gennadi Yufit filmed an advert for Vicks last summer. The advert was shown on Swedish television in conjunction with the IIHF World Championships.
