| There are no stats or match report available for this game. However, I have been reliably informed by Ian Howitt that this was the second leg of the Division 1 Trophy final. We had previously drawn with the Barons 4-4 on 6th April at Hobbs Moat.
Ian tells me that the Lee Valley Ice Centre was packed with fans watching the Lions smash the Barons to take the Division 1 trophy! Lions’ Finns were naturally among the goal-scorers, but other players such as Mike Allard, Ludek Smelik and even Martin Bergin also scored on what was an amazing night. |
