Additional Comments: Our last home game of the season and it was against newly crowned Division 1 South champions, Telford Tigers. That didn’t intimidate the Lions, though, and we had the satisfaction of not only ending the season on a win, but with a win over the top team! We even managed to score four Power Play goals! Not only was Dave Ducharme high-scoring during this match, but Doug McEwen scored 6+3 and Jaro Lycka 5+5! Several roughing incidents marred the game, with Ali Rodger, Ben Acquah, Kel Land and John Wolfe (goalie!) receiving 2+2 at 12:04, all for Roughing bar Wolfe, who received his for leaving the crease. Referee was Bramah, Linesmen were Large and Walton. |
