Additional Comments: This was the Lions’ first visit to the John Nike rink in Bracknell. Two of the Lions’ imports were ex-teammates of Bracknell’s Darin Fridgen (I’m assuming they were Greg Cyr and Rod Schluter). Rod Schluter had a blinding game, with 2 of his 6 goals being unassisted. The Lions imports dominated the scoring with Rod and Greg scoring all 8 goals between them. Mark Salisbury, Tony Goldstone and Ronnie Evans-Harvey were the only Brits to get any assists. Referee was Taggart, Linesmen were Young and Mahoney. |
