Additional Comments: The match programme noted that we were champions – of the relegation play-offs, at least! We’d won all of our games to ensure we stayed up for another season. Poor old Glasgow hadn’t won a single relegation play-off game, including this one! Lions’ first and last goals during this match were Power Plays, thanks to Randy Oswald and Greg Cyr. Darren Bloomfield received 2+10 for Spearing at 50:41 while there were also several 2+2 penalties to players of both teams for Roughing. The Players of the Month for March were announced at the end of the game. For Offence the winner was Darren Bloomfield and for Defence, Jim Graves. Steve James won the Supporters’ Club Trophy. Referee was Bramah, Linesmen were Blair and Dadswell. |
