Hamilton returns

Defender Matt Hamilton re-signs with the green and blue for 2025/26. Matt spent last season as team captain, this will be Matt’s 6th season with the Lions and we can’t wait to see what he does. Coach Simon Jones said, “Matt is returning again this season and I am very pleased to have him on board. He is another player with experience at a higher level that brings a sense of calmness to the ice. I am confident that this will be Matt’s best season in a Lions jersey.”

Own and loan shirt sponsorship

Sponsor a player’s shirt, get your name (and a link to your business, if applicable) shown as a sponsor on the Lions’ website and the player will, where possible, present the shirt to you at the end of the season. They’ll also sign it for you if you’d like! The cost is just £60 for your choice between a home or away shirt, or £100 if you’d like to sponsor both. Our current roster is shown here, but own and loan shirt sponsorship will be available for all future signings too, so keep an eye out 👀.

Interested? Contact us via social media OR through our sponsorship page. Priority for specific shirts will go to whose who owned and loaned them last season, but other than that it is first come, first served!

NB Players’ shirt numbers are subject to change.

Game on – Lions v Lions!

The Nottingham Lions head back down to Lee Valley to face off against us in this year’s pre-season friendly. After an 8-4 win last year, the boys in green and blue will be looking for a second victory in this battle of pride. Who will roar the loudest in 2025?

A massive re-signing

A massive (hehe) welcome back to 6’9″ defender Dan Tamasauskas. Dan’s season was derailed by injury last year, so we can’t wait to see what the giant does now he’s back to fitness.

Lions’ coach Simon Jones said, “Daniel was held back by injuries last season and is lining up to have a big bounce back campaign. He has been working hard away from the ice and remains committed to his own development as well as the team pushing forwards. He has all the tools to dominate in his position in all situations and will continue to sharpen those tools this year.”

Witter returns

Carlton Witter returns for his second season in green and blue. Having joined the squad last season, he cemented his place in the team with his versatility of play and work ethic. We’re thrilled to have him back.

Coach comments: “Carlton really impressed me last season with his work ethic and versatility. He is calm and collected and has solid fundamentals. I’m expecting a big season this year from Carlton at both ends of the ice and look forward to him having a great impact on our season.”
