Unfortunately Lee Valley Ice Centre has had to change the day that ice time is available for the Lions from Tuesday to Wednesday. Trials and practice sessions will continue on Wednesdays from next week (25 July), through the duration of the Olympics (until September). Each Wednesday session will still start at 10pm.
If you plan on trying out for the Lions please note that trials/practice sessions will now start at 10pm, not 8.15pm. All other details remain the same.
Contrary to what you may have read on Facebook, there are NO changes to our trials/practice sessions, which are continuing each Tuesday evening through July as normal. All players interested in joining the Lions for the 2012/13 season are invited to come along, 8.15pm with £10 contribution towards ice hire.
Just a reminder to everyone interested in playing for the Lee Valley Lions in 2012/13 that our trials are now well under way. They will continue on each of the remaining Tuesdays in July, from 8.15pm to 9.30pm. Players will need to contribute £10 towards the cost of ice time.
Last night we hosted our awards presentation at the Hare & Hounds in Leyton. The awards handed out for the season were as follows:
Coach’s Player of the Year: James Gosling
Joint Players’ Player of the Year: Richard Hodge & Adam Peach
Leading goal scorer: Blair Dubyk
Leading assists: Scott Beeson
Leading goalie: Steve Grout
